Karen Nye is a Communications and Multimedia Strategist. She is a seasoned business journalist with over 20 years’ experience in television news. She reported on the financial crisis for the BBC from New York, worked on Tom Brokaw’s Nightly News program as NBC Economics Editor and served as CNBC’s London Bureau Chief. Joining Diane and her team in 2011, she created a model for media outreach that maximizes hits, quantifies results and values earned media against paid advertising. She produces videos and podcasts, provides media training and is well-connected among financial journalists. Karen started her career on Capitol Hill as Deputy Press Secretary for the Chairman of the Senate Budget Committee, which provides insights into economic policy. Karen holds a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics and a B.A. from the University of Florida.
